Hi all,

Had some errands this morning (and a sick older dog) so didn't get out birding. However, coming back from the errand at about 10:30 we stopped to get our mail and heard a Black-throated Green Warbler singing in trees at the end of our long driveway. Went into the house, grabbed our bins, and had a nice half-hour until a noisy lawn-mowing crew arrived for the house bordering our drive, which pretty much shut everything down! Several of the 8 warbler species were First of Season, reflecting our rather poor luck recently at our local Wheaton patch.

Anyway, birds of interest:

Cedar Waxwing - 12+
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 6-7 including a number of females
American Redstart - 1 singing
MAGNOLIA WARBLER - 1 singing FOS
YELLOW WARBLER - 1 singing FOS
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER - 1 singing FOS
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER - 1 FOS
Northern Parula - 1 singing
Black-throated Green - 1 heard only
Baltimore Oriole - 1
