Hi all,

Went on a solo Mother's Day hike at Rachel Carson park off Zion Rd.  Didn't notice too many migrants, but the best surprise bird was a female Summer Tanager foraging in a low bush off of the Hawlings River Trail.  I was also glad to hear and see 2 Kentucky Warbler males singing in the same vicinity.  Ovenbirds were also very vocal along with a pair of Louisiana Waterthrushes.
