I think this has been a constructive discussion and has opened my eyes 
to how widespread and serious the lack of access problem is.  Hopefully 
it will spark MOS to find a solution.  (And sorry Kurt, but to suggest 
that pestering someone else to post for you is a solution is kidding 
yourself.   I'm sure you'd never be satisifed if that was your only 
means of access.)  Perhaps those MOS members with concerns should also 
contact MOS directly.
