Bev,

It really is beautiful country .....I wondered if it was to early to see the
Mourning
Warblers. I guess that was part of my thinking leaving them to last .....I
am usually able to scrounge up a Mourning Warbler somewhere local.
Hopefully,
this year will not be the exception.

By the way Therese, Kathleen, and I are planning a trip to Chincoteague
in two weeks. The trip is suppose to be a combination birding and
bicycling weekend. I know that the first week of June is probably way past
the optimal time for birding e.t.c but are there any special birds that I
should look out for this late in the season.....I have yet to bird
Chincoteague so any advice would
be greatly appreciated.
It is only three months till Broadwing season.... Kerry was talking last
year
of perhaps discontinuing the hawk watch in the formal sense.....I.e. make
the Snickers thing less structured........ so that people could come on
favorable winds and not feel obligated to be there when being somewhere else
would obviously be more productive. I must say the idea has appeal to me.
What do you think???
                                William
