A interesting tidbit that was passed on by a homeowner to a couple Howard birders (invited to walk up the driveway to look at the pond)- she claims to have seen the bird around since August?!?! 
    Also, when we went to look we did find a Great Horned Owl on a nest (needed for the block!). A nice surprise.
