Or at least thats what they last called it .? Well for anyone who doesnt have time to chase White Pelicans, Common Moorhens , Great Egrets, Sandhill Cranes , or Magnificent Frigate Birds, oh and White faced Ibis just want to give a quick update on the ragged African Pied Crow. It was hanging about the Brooklyn shopping center on Ritchie hwy. last Saturday morning . I saw him on a the sign to the shopping center at Church st. , took a photo while sitting at the light . I went over to try for closer photo and he spooked even though i was 50 feet away and in my car. He flew over my car and was very beat up looking . i wondered how he able to fly as all feathers are ragged. He disappeared to the south. Seen him this morning on my way to work . Finally got to leave a little earlier when bird action apparently happens.Same location . He was in the large dead tree beside the Rite Aide store with about 20 other crows. Still trying to fit in. Good luck to all
you birdchasers this weekend . I got 14 new moths this morning (in one spot :)!!!!!!Got to see a Dragonhunter dragonfly last weekend at Daniels area of Patapsco State Park below the dam thanks to friend Sykes.
