Damien and I just finished a survey of the Anacostia River to look for the frigate. 

We started at just below the Frederick Douglas Bridge and worked our way to river terrace. Unfortunately, no frigate.

There were 3 Caspian terns just north of the bridge and 2 American avocets across from the battleship at the Navy Yard. 2 more avocets were also spotted later at River Terrace.
